Grant Process

OSRP Grant Process - All Steps

Pre-Award

The Pre-Award process begins with the research and selection of a grant Request for Proposal (RFP) and continues throughout the developmental stages of the proposal up to the submission to the funding agency. OSRP is available throughout the process to assist the Principal Investigator in the creation of their work.

Budget

The Budget is the key proposal component driving activities and outcomes. Most federal agencies include budget forms as a part of their application package. The budget process is discussed in detail to assist the Principal Investigator in determining the cost of the project.

Post-Award

The Post-Award process begins with the awarding of the grant and continues through the life of the grant until the post award accounting or close out. Grants and contracts carry complex technical and administrative responsibilities, which involve strict accountability. OSRP is available throughout the Post-Award process to assist the Principal Investigator in the management of their grant awards.
